How many meal plans may I have?

A student may only sign up for one meal plan per each semester. However, a student may purchase a meal plan and also have Optional Flex and a Colonel Cash, two (2) declining balance accounts available to EKU students in addition to meal plan declining balance accounts. You must zero ($0) out your available meal plan declining balance prior to Optional Flex and Colonel Cash going in effect for campus use. Remaining balances on Optional Flex and Colonel Cash roll semester to semester meaning the student will never be required to forfeit remaining balances at the end of the semester and as long as they are an active student on campus.
Optional Flex and Colonel Cash may not be converted to another account.

What if I signed up for a meal plan and it is not showing up on my University Account yet?

EKU assesses meal plans as soon as the prior semester has been completed.  Therefore, if you sign up in the summer for your fall meal plan charges will show up on your University Account usually the first week of August.  Should you sign up for your spring meal plan during the fall semester meal those charges will be applied to your University Account during the first week of January.

How am I able to track my meal plan usage ?

Please log on to EKU GET Funds to track spending and add more money to your declining balance accounts Board meals and Flex Dollars will show up on a student's account prior to classes starting.  However, these funds will not be available for use until the first day of class.

NOTE: EKU Dining Services follows the same refund schedule, for full term, which is outlined by the University and reflected on the EKU Colonel's Compass page. All appeals are mandated and approved by Financial Appeals.
